RESERVATION, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1. RESERVATION POLICY
Each reservation, after confirmation, has the value of a contract according to the current Italian legislation, binding both for the person making the reservation and for the Hotelier.
It is possible to book according to the following methods:

- From the website www.hotelportorafael.com;
- By presenting yourself directly at the Boutique Hotel during the summer season, therefore approximately from mid-April to mid-October;
- Via the following OTA channels: "Booking" and "Expedia". For these booking channels, please refer directly to their respective websites: http://www.booking.com & http://www.expedia.com.
Following the availability request, you will be sent a (non-binding) offer by e-mail.
The reservation is considered confirmed and binding only after the deposit has been effectively received in the bank account. The deposit must be made within 1 day from the time of the reservation. If the payment is not made within the required time, the reservation is to be considered not confirmed and/or non-binding.
Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.
Upon arrival, it is obligatory to present an identification document for each person, including minors, according to the current Italian legislation for the purposes of registration on the useful portals of tourist flows.
2. MODIFICATION OF THE RESERVATION
To make changes to your reservation, you must contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to accommodate your request. Any changes are subject to availability.
In addition, if you change your reservation to a period for which the rates are different from the amount paid, you will be required to pay any price difference.

3. RATE TYPES
- Non-refundable: a deposit of 100% of the total stay is required in advance, for a minimum stay of two nights;
- Flexible: a deposit of 50% of the total stay is required in advance, while the remainder will be paid directly at the Hotel, for a minimum stay of two nights;
- One Night: Rate designed for one-night stays, applicable only in low season, therefore NOT JULY AND AUGUST, and can only be requested at the Hotel, by phone at + 39 345 069 1003 and/or by email at [email protected]. Full payment in advance is required.
4. EXTRAS
- Upon check-out, as per current legislation, payment of the City Tax is required;
April: 2€ per person per night
From May to October: 3€ per person per night
Minors up to the age of 12 y/o: free

- The rooms of the Boutique Hotel are 6 in total. They can accommodate a maximum of two people. The Suite can accommodate a third person, adult or child, with an additional cost of 30% more.
- Our Structure is Pet Friendly: we are happy to host your friends with a small supplement of €30.00 per night for a single animal;
- The addition of a cot for children from 0 to 2 years has an additional cost of €50.00 per night;
- Each room has a small minibar: any items are excluded from the room price, therefore they will be paid separately on extras.
N.B.: All the extras mentioned above will be paid directly at the Hotel, through the payment methods indicated in point 5.
Rates include only Italian breakfast. The rest will be counted as extra.
5. PAYMENT: GENERAL CONDITION
The reservation is considered confirmed and binding only after the deposit has been received on the bank account. The payment must be made within a maximum of 1 day from the time of booking. If the payment is not made within the required time, the reservation is to be considered not confirmed and/or not binding.
The deposit can be paid through the following methods:
- Directly from the website: Credit card and Bank transfer*.
- Directly with the Hotel at the useful numbers indicated above: Credit card and Bank transfer. In case of payment by credit card, a specific form will be sent.

5.1. BALANCE
The balance, as well as any extras, must be paid before departure.
The balance is due in the case of a flexible rate. This amount can also be paid on site and at checkout. In the case of payment on site, the payment methods are the following: credit card and/or debit card; cash (within the limits established by law).
For payments by bank transfer, send a copy of the receipt of the transfer by email: [email protected], indicating the date of your booking, your telephone number and email address, you will receive confirmation.
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation of a reservation must be communicated by e-mail to the following address: [email protected].
- In case of cancellation, if you choose the “Non-refundable” rate, the payment equal to 100% of the total stay will be retained in any case.
- In case of cancellation, if you choose the “Flexible” rate, the deposit, equal to 50% of the total stay, will be retained, as provided for by the Civil Code art. 1385.
Furthermore:
- In case of cancellation up to 30 days before the start date of the stay, no additional cost will be charged.
- In case of cancellation made from the 29th to the day before the start date of the stay, a penalty equal to the remaining 50% of the stay will be required.
No refund is due to the Guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore is required to pay the entire booked stay.
